Eligibility Criteria:
For Science Subjects:
- 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English (Minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English)
OR - 3-Year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation/IT) with 50% aggregate and 50% in English in Diploma
OR - 2-Year Vocational Course with Non-Vocational Subjects (Physics and Math) with 50% aggregate and 50% in English
For Non-Science Subjects:
- 10+2 (any stream) with 50% aggregate and 50% in English
OR - 2-Year Vocational Course with 50% aggregate and 50% in English

Physical Standards
- Height: Minimum 152.5 cm
- Chest Expansion: Minimum 5 cm
Benefits of the Agniveer Scheme
- Age Group: 17.5 – 21 years eligible
- Service Period: 4 years
- Insurance Cover: ₹48 Lakhs during service

- Monthly Package (Yearly Breakdown):
- 1st Year: ₹30,000 (₹21,000 in-hand + ₹9,000 corpus fund)
- 2nd Year: ₹33,000 (₹23,100 in-hand + ₹9,900 corpus fund)
- 3rd Year: ₹36,500 (₹25,580 in-hand + ₹10,950 corpus fund)
- 4th Year: ₹40,000 (₹28,000 in-hand + ₹12,000 corpus fund)
- Exit Benefits: ₹11.71 Lakhs (Seva Nidhi Package) + Skill Certificate
- Regular Cadre Opportunities: Up to 25% of Agniveers may join the regular cadre
